The tour that blends adrenaline and relaxing in nature. On day one, paddle through 17.5 km (11 miles) of Class III rapids along the Güejar River Canyon. In the afternoon, head to Charco Azul, where you'll camp out under the stars complete with a campfire, dinner, and an overnight guide. On day two, explore the natural pools and waterfalls of Charco Azul before heading back to Mesetas.

Prices per person
Urban lodging: downtown Mesetas, 2 blocks from the agency, private bathroom, fan or AC. Rural lodging: 5 minutes away on a paved road, cabins or rooms. Both subject to availability. Camping takes place at Charco Azul with gear provided by TUREM.

A comfortable and safe camping experience. You don't need to bring any gear. TUREM provides everything you need for a memorable night in nature.
Day-by-day itinerary
This plan operates year-round. During the dry season (December to March), the Güejar River's water level drops and rafting is suitable for ages 5 and up. During the rainy season (April to November), the river rises and the minimum age is 7 years.
8:00 AM Induction talk, gear handout, and river conditions check.
17.5 km of Class III rapids through Meta's most stunning canyon. Approximate duration: 4 to 6 hours. Lunch included during the trip.
Return to the starting point. Free time to shower and get ready for camping.
Transfer by motorcycle (1–2 people) or 4x4 vehicle (3 or more) to the Charco Azul area to begin the campout.
TUREM pitches the tents and equips the campsite. Campfire lit at dusk. A peaceful atmosphere surrounded by nature.
Dinner prepared by the TUREM team right at camp. A night under the stars with our accompanying guide.
Breakfast at camp at sunrise. One of the tour's most memorable moments.
Hike through the forest to reach El Peñón and Las Cataratas waterfalls. Natural white-sand pools. Free time for swimming and photography.
Lunch included. Return to the TUREM agency in Mesetas.

Pregnancy and surgeries within the last 90 days prevent participation in rafting.

Reservations are confirmed with a 30% deposit of the total cost. Non-refundable once confirmed.

How do I get to Mesetas, Meta?
From Bogotá: 6 hours by road. Route: Bogotá → Villavicencio → Granada → Mesetas. Buses are available from the Bogotá Bus Terminal (Terminal de Transportes).
