Since 2018, we have operated in Mesetas, Meta, one of Colombia's most biodiverse regions. We are not middlemen. We are the team that designs, runs, and guides every single experience right on the ground.

Our symbol is Rocoso, the Guianan cock-of-the-rock (Rupicola rupicola), the flagship bird of Mesetas and guardian of the forest. Just like him, we call this ecosystem home and protect it.

From the moment Don William and Alejandro greeted us with their warm smiles at dawn, I knew we were in good hands.

Even though the round trip to Caño Canoas and 7 Machos was long and tiring (especially for William, who drove the entire time), we felt like four friends on a mission, enjoying the views, spotting wildlife, and making the most of every bump on the road.
Both of them were so kind and helped me organize everything so I could propose to my girlfriend at Caño Canoas, and it was heartwarming to feel their excitement to be part of the moment—I couldn't have pulled it off without them!

It was wonderful to see them enjoying the trip too; so often tour guides just walk ahead and wait for you to do your thing at each spot, but they truly savored the experience just as much as we did.
We shared great conversations, touching and deep stories that made us feel even more grateful to have spent the last two days with them. I wish my Spanish were better so we could have talked more, but I'm so glad we got to connect so much.

As for the places we visited:
Gorgeous. Caño Canoas is a true hidden gem. Definitely a must-visit place in Colombia.

Although we haven't visited Caño Cristales, 7 Machos felt like a similar, lesser-known spot, with idyllic waterfalls and stunning displays of the same colorful algae.

After all the time I spent researching and booking a tour to these destinations, I'm so grateful it was with TUREM. The person who assisted me was very kind and gave me plenty of information, as did our guides, and I'm sure the rest of the team is just as lovely. We look forward to returning in the future and joining the other tours they offer.

Turem was the sole reason we decided to travel to Mesetas, and it was hands down the highlight of our trip. We are cautious travelers and had read notes about past instability in the region, but also recent positive blogs about the growing tourism there.

So we contacted Turem; their manager, Natalia, was incredibly patient answering all our questions (even though we didn't speak Spanish) and gave us the reassurance we needed regarding safety. Most importantly, she was always available to coordinate.

We went whitewater rafting after receiving detailed safety briefings from a very experienced captain, a safety kayaker, and an additional instructor/guide. It was an exhilarating, fully enjoyable, and magical experience where we got to swim, hike to accessible waterfalls, and enjoy lunch, snacks, and coffee at the rest stops! On the second day, we hiked to breathtaking, nearly pristine waterfalls where we could also swim.

Turem organized everything seamlessly from start to finish: pickup in Bogotá, lodging at Turem (a truly charming rustic cabin), all meals and activities, and the return trip to Bogotá. We are vegetarians, and Turem made sure we not only had vegetarian meals, but a wonderful variety of options!

We are deeply grateful to Natalia and Carolina for their support and the effort they put into translating and making us feel comfortable at all times. It was amazing to see José rafting with his English manual in hand so he could explain the history and nature to us!

Carolina, who speaks fluent English, and her German Shepherd Sienna were our guides on the hike. Carolina stepped in whenever a more detailed English explanation was needed.

The 5 to 6-hour private drive to Mesetas was completely worth it. Had we planned ahead, an alternative would have been flying to the nearest airport and taking a 2 to 3-hour private transfer.

We highly recommend visiting Mesetas with Turem. It's off the beaten track, but that's precisely what makes it so beautiful!

Excellent place. This is my second time visiting the Güejar River Canyon with Turem and, without a doubt, each experience has been unique and wonderful. I would come back a thousand times! The lush nature here makes every visit unforgettable. 🌿✨

This time I chose the three-day all-inclusive package and it was the best decision. Turem's service was outstanding, the hotel was super lovely, and the package includes three meals a day, all of them delicious. Plus, the aborrajados they serve for snacks are the absolute best! 🤤

The best part is that it truly is an all-inclusive package: you don't need to spend an extra penny, and in every activity and service, you feel the care and excellent attention given to guests.

Highly recommended for anyone looking to disconnect, immerse in nature, and live an incredible adventure in the Güejar Canyon. 💚

In addition, the town has a great variety of dining options, with cafés and restaurants around the main square, local artisan shops, all at very good prices.

Without a doubt, a destination I will always want to return to. 🏞️❤️

The experience I had with Turem is truly unmatched. Always attentive, the guides don't just lead the way—they also share stories and genuinely care about everyone's satisfaction. You can feel their deep respect for the land and the love they put into everything they do. During each activity they provide a snack including an aborrajado, which is simply out of this world. We did rafting down the Güejar River, the hike to Charco Azul, and the trek to the Telares waterfall. Everything was wonderfully organized, and the local transportation was top-notch. The hikes include visits to sites of historical importance for the region and community. We booked the all-inclusive package from Bogotá, and everything was stellar—the food was more than generous.

Excellent company.

I organized a trip with several family members (there were 9 of us in total). Through the company, we booked tours, lodging, and meals. The service was excellent, very friendly, and everything was extremely well organized. The tours were always led by top-notch guides who were very responsible, but also great fun. We not only got to know the region and its landscapes, we lived real adventure and learned a lot about its economy, culture, and history.

I highly recommend visiting and booking everything through this company. Everything was incredible, not a single complaint.

Excellent experience with TUREM! We did rafting on the Güejar River and tubing on the Cafre and Guape rivers, along with the Wonders of Güejar tour and La Encantada Waterfall. Everyone was super friendly and helpful: the guides, drivers, office, and reservations staff. Punctual, great logistics, good snacks and lunches. You can also see their strict safety measures, environmental care, and deep knowledge of the area, which makes you feel confident and safe throughout these adventures. The town of Mesetas is very pretty, super peaceful, and safe, with great places to eat and stay. The towns of Uribe and Lejanías are also very lovely—all in all, a highly recommended experience.

What a cool experience, the guide was super awesome. Very organized as a company. The price felt completely fair for everything that was included.
$250,000 COP per person to go to the Güejar Canyon. They give you a spot to organize your gear, covered parking, 2 delicious snacks, a really tasty lunch (we had fried cachama), and along the full tour you stop at several waterfalls, getting to swim for a while wherever the guide points out it's safe to do so. Insurance is included too. And when you wrap up the tour there are showers to change in—they bring your clothes there to make sure you slip into nice, dry clothes :3—and it includes transport from the agency to the trailhead, plus transport from down by the river back to the agency. Truly great.
